August 28th is the anniversary of the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom

It is obvious today that America has defaulted on this promissory note in so far as her citizens of color are concerned. Instead of honoring this sacred obligation, America has given the Negro people a bad check, a check which has come back marked “insufficient funds.”

On August 28th, 2020 thousands gathered in Washington DC to commemorate the 1963 civil rights March on Washington and in protest of police violence.

What's your dream kitchen?

I like the rustic look and the open space. In reality, my kitchen is a lot smaller. I'm looking at how I can use smaller appliances and maximize the space I have.

The Fluxus movement began in the 1960s. 

The “CliffsNotes” version of Fluxus. Fluxus was an international, interdisciplinary community of artists, composers, designers and poets during the 1960s and 1970s who engaged in experimental art performances which emphasized the artistic process over the finished product.[1][2] Fluxus is known for experimental contributions to different artistic media and disciplines and for generating new art forms. These art forms include intermedia, a term coined by Fluxus artist Dick Higgins;[3][4][5][6] conceptual art, first developed by Henry Flynt,[7][8] an artist contentiously associated with Fluxus; and video art, first pioneered by Nam June Paik and Wolf Vostell.[9][10][11] Dutch gallerist and art critic Harry Ruhé describes Fluxus as "the most radical and experimental art movement of the sixties."[12][13]

How do you deal with racist bigots on Disqus?

I swore I wasn't going to post at Paul's blog. I did. I saw this post and the racist comments and couldn't help myself from speaking out. My comments to Desert Woman were removed. The funny thing is that I posted screenshots of what she said.
